Islamiconomic: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is a periodical scientific publication intended for economists who want to publish their articles in the form of literature studies, research, and scientific development in the field of Islamic economics (see Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published every six months (2 issues per year, in June and December).

All published articles can be accessed online and are free to download. The authors have no obligation to pay, whether to submit and process of articles. However, authors are required to pay when they articles are ready to be published as it mentions in the link. All submitted articles should be written in English.

The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

Islamiconomic: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam works closely with the AFEBIS Journal Forum (Indonesian Islamic Economics Journal Forum), also with the Islamic Economist Association (Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam) and Islamic Economic Society (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah) which provides editorial members, peer reviewers, and authors, both are professional associations related to Islamiconomic's aims and scopes.

This journal has been indexed by: Crossref, DOAJ, Dimensions, Google Scholar, Sinta, Garuda, Moraref, One Search Indonesia, Web of Science, EBSCO, etc.
